Nile has a large seed and pale skin making it attractive to the small, but important, market in the Middle East for human consumption beans. The top end of this market attracts additional premiums which UK growers have historically satisfied with Victor. Nile is also suitable for this premium export market and has been a finalist in the Maviga Cup (BEPA Human Consumption Bean Competition) for 5 years and took 1st prize in 2004. Buyers for this valuable market have reported Nile to have a good taste, superior to Victor.
